The City of Miami Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP), for eligible homeowners within City of Miami limits provides up to $6,000 (one-time) towards the past due mortgage payments (arrears) of qualifying households who:
(1) have incomes at 120% Area Median Income (AMI) or below.

The home must be owner-occupied with a homestead exemption, within City of Miami limits. The homeowner must have been current on their mortgage prior to March 1, 2020. The MAP program can pay PITI (Principal, Interest, Taxes and Insurance) between March 1 and December 30, 2020.
This program’s application will be available starting August 17, 2020, 9 am. The program has just over $1 million in State of Florida Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) and can help approximately 185 households. Due to limited funds, applicants will be assisted on a first-come, first-ready, first serve basis. Funds for qualifying households will be paid directly to the mortgage lender on behalf of the homeowner with no repayment required.
